@stuartamawer Awesome thanks i'll check around my area first to see whats best! :) Its encouraging to hear the moped riding will pay off in terms or awareness and being able to pre-determine other motorists behaviour! but to be honest even though It was just a 50cc I always tried improving my riding, I even did a BikeSafe workshop at the North Wales police HQ at one point :P I'm hoping Module 1 isn't as bad as what I was told because I know for sure that once I pass that Module 2 will be much e

@JoshTilley121 I am just about to do my mod 2, coming from very similar situation. I haven't had a whole lot of training, maybe 8-10 hrs over a month or so. My biggest piece of advice is try the various school bikes available to you and stick with that one that feels best from early on. If like me, once you have clutch control sorted, you will find that your moped experience on the road will help massively, allowing you to worry about what gear you are in, etc rather than the road ahead basics

@RoadcraftNottingham Hi I was just wondering whether you think its possible to pass both your module 1 and 2 just a few weeks after taking your CBT? I've had 2 years experience on a 50cc moped but have never been on a geared bike, so i'm simply re-taking my CBT and then immediately booking a module 1 three day training then test, and likewise for mod 2 if I pass mod 1, do you think it'll be enough time to pick up the gears?

2.17 love it, indicator even on bend, I do the same too, better people thinking "look at that fool" instead of people picking you up off the road:) nice video

I am from germany and i always wondered what those zig zag lines mean. Could anyone enlighten me?

Great video. Great help if your learning, I passed in 1993 i wish i could have had access to video's like this back then. I'm from Nottinghamshire also.
So if a bus lane doesn't have its working times sign posted, do you assume that you shouldn't use them?

Fantastic instructions, calm and delicate in detail. The instructor is keenly focusing on developing defensive riding skills in his students. By the way, It's terrifying, how much more complex to drive/ride in the cramped and congested UK roads, than it's typical in North America. Among other things, the density and variety of pavement marks are befuddling and bewildering also. What the heck the zig-zag marks signifies for example?

@wotan20 Thanks. Zig zag lines are usually placed at pedestrian crossings. They mean no parking and no overtaking the vehicle nearest the crossing. Not a bad idea in case a pedestrian is walking in front of the car that's stopped and is not seen by an overtaking vehicle.
