love the pocket jean idea....thanks again for sharing your creativity.....its been great so far. i always look forward to your next vid :)

I totally agree. I wanna hear you explain it. :) Even if you are just dubbing over what you are doing when you edit the film, your voice is very soothing and makes it so much easier to understand.

the denim pocket is really a fab idea! ^_^

I wonder the same thing!
Arlene, how do you do it? With kids, hubby? Do you work full time? If so, how in the world do you do it? Give us some tips! :o)

Hi, can you please tell me what Im doing wrong. When I adhear the DSP to the chipboard for the pages Im having problems getting it to stick without lifting. I have tried using a glue stick as well as glue itself. When I use glue it buckels and when I use the glue stick it lifts after a few days. What do you use to keep the paper adheared. Thank you

Hi there. Try using the Scotch craft stick. It sticks and wont peel off. Also, after you adhere the paper to the chipboard, use your sanding block along the edges. it helps "bond" the paper to the chipboard at the edges so it wont curl and peel. Also, using a brayer to press down the paper to the chipboard helps avoid bubbles and buckling. :-)

I am totally in love with this so far and I wish I was in on this swap. :P Where did you find the butterfly acetate? I am in love with it and must get some!

Hi there! I found the butterfly acetate at Michael's for 30% off. It's by My Minds Eye and it's from the "Bohemia" collection. BTW, thanks so much for your comments re: my vids... I mentioned to Roxy that I'll be changing things up with the next vid, which is probably due out later this week (it's a crazy week for me 'cuz I have projects due at work, swaps due, my son starts soccer practice and Scrapbook Expo is on Saturday.) Whew! hehehe! Thanks again for watching and stay tuned! :-)

very cool, Arlene! I bought a ton of little kid jeans at Goodwill and they are fun to use. I've even used the sewn side seams for "ribbon" ... but I'm bummed, why aren't you talking anymore? I'd much rather hear you explain your techniques ...

Hi Roxy! Oooh, denim ribbon... love the idea!! :-)
Thanks for your feedback on my vids... I'm thinking I'll do a talk through prelude on my vids and see how that goes (i.e. explain the steps I took, then show it in action.) Next vid, k? Feedback welcome! :-)
