@Zoey241 Well, I heard of Tool through my friend and I fell in love with them, and I've heard of APC but never listened to them, then when I played guitar hero i played the song and thought the voice was familiar, turns out it was maynard from tool, so i looked up more songs by them and fell in love with them. moron.

Gah! I hate it fellow Christians bash people who don't believe. Seriously, as good as it is for us, it doesn't really help our cause(sarcasm) This song is Keenan yelling at God. So? Im sure that you would be pretty angry as well. If you listen to Wings(Parts 1 and 2) from the 10,000 days album, you can see that Keenan is more accepting of God and his mother faith. Whether he believes it or not. So stop bashing, some of you are making us look bad.

and i was referring to the lyrics of the song, the lead singers mother was paralyzed but still had faith in god even though he left her "broken down and paralyzed"

Some of you have a tendency of putting WAY too much stock into Maynard's lyrics. A Perfect Circle and Tool are much more enjoyable when simply appreciating his vocal range and the awesome instrumentals of the two bands.

lvcivs11 i freakin love you!!! you seriously can't feel pain if you don't know happiness, and without hate there is no love and without war no peace. i've tried explaining that to people and they just can't comprehend it. and i am also christian and he's not literal in his lyrics, your supposed to read between the lines. he doesn't try to offend anyone with his lyrics. so i also agree with you on that one

its actually about his mother being really religious and then becoming paralyzed which only strengthened her faith in religion. its very interesting
