Two trains at Chicopee Signal 4-24-08

Finally getting around to uploading my Chicopee Signal video's, just got a external so i have space to store all the raw video. First up Northbound Coal train smokes it up as it climbs the hill with a unusual consist for a coal train. Night falls and we see a late running Q669 descend the Hill with a real treat, two SD40-2's one still in Conrail paint, the SD40-2's scream to lift the train over the crest and the quickly notch down as they come over the top.

No, this was Athens, Georgia. The neighborhood around here is known as Chicopee and crews have adopted the name for this signal.

Yeah, that was after i snapped the good antenna on my scanner and had to use the rubber ducky, shouldve just turned it off instead.

Great shot. The location and "mood" of the overcast lighting add a greaf feel to the shot and the deer are the cherry on top of the shot.
