  • Maybe you meant filler, the filler on the rear ns arch is to blend the new arch panel in,theft other sided was rebuildable so new metal was let in and the rim filled.I would have welded a new arch on but parts aren't easily obtained

  • Hi mate don't understand bondo? The metal is all welded and lead filled, the black stuff is all underseal.the only parts where a substitute were used are the internal bulk head and the fuse box base.one was fibreglassed as welding inside the card proved dangerous and the fuse box area was tacked into place and then silicon sealed to prevent water getting under it. Hope this explains

  • good job very good

  • thanks mate, taking ages to do though.............

  • One thing I don't understand...

If you're putting all this love into a restoration, why not love the wheel wells too with welding in new metal instead of using Bondo. You seem to be doing a fantastic job, just curious as to why the one short cut.

  • what
