He did not! McCain addressed his audience, did not talk to the military in the same way that he talked to "hockey / soccer moms" etc. Addressing the concerns of the audience is the way to win.

He basically said "say whatever you have to to get elected". It appears he is also for paying whatever you have to to get elected. Candidate #5?

You are impressive honest and exemplify a true caring for people. I wish the rest of the Democrats modeled themselves after you. I was even more impressed at your Independense today after voting no to the bailout. You did not cave in like a coward and vote yes like so many of your colleagues. This my friends is what you need more of in Government. Take notice people.
