NIUtube Entry - Are You Ready to Rock at NIU Dorms? - Suzanne Vanderwiel

This is my video that I made for the NIU dorms contest. It talks all about why I am going to move into the NIU dorms and why other people should to. It includes great experiences that you'll pick up by living at the dorms and why NIU dorms is the best atmosphere for your college career. It highlights three main reasons why anyone looking to attend NIU should stay at the dorms and those reasons are as follows:

1. Friends
2. Food
3. The Best Place for a Good Start (to your college career)

In the video, I interviewed a few residences and someone interviewed me as well and we all talked about our experiences in and out of the NIU dorms. Since I don't live in the dorms yet, I added a new perspective to going to college but not experiencing the same thing as students who are living on campus do. Each person expresses the fun and joy they've had living at the NIU dorms.

I, Suzanne Vanderwiel, made the video myself. My friends helped and it made the video editing and producing much easier, but only I am entering the contest.

can anyone please tell me which of the 5 halls is best and why?

The best hall is Douglas. Here are my reasons:

1) Food is available for most of the day and Lincoln is just a hop-skip away for late night stuff.

2) The best beds are available there.

3) Best internet access and internet tech help.

4) Great food (amazing food really)

5) We have HD TVs on almost all the floors!!!

Nope, every floor at every dorm has a community bathroom.

Sorry you lived in Grant. Everyone I talked to hates it. A couple of my floormates now who stayed there last year hated it. Go Stevenson if you want the high rise dorms.

wrong wrong wrong. niu dorms are horrible. i lived in ghetto grant and had a psycho roomie :(
