  • Ah the memories! Brilliant voice of Roger Chapman. The double neck guitar of Ric Grech (originally?).

Saw them the first time at the ABC Lothian Road in Edinburgh in the late 60s (?) and the bill was Jethro Tull, Family and Ten Years After and the mc was John Peel!!! Brilliant night! And they'd all just released their first albums. Superb time :-)

  • Clare Murphy had chance to see him at UEA 1975, but 'didnt want to see him fall off the stage'. Personally, wud have loved that

  • great bass line

  • @BashBrand I have heard of that and would like to see it. I doubt the tape still exists though.

  • I loved when they did this on TOTP. When I say 'did', Chappo was mainly just laughing his butt off, curled up round the base of his mic stand while the others looked helplessly on. Well, that's how I remember it. Would love to see that again.
