This is an edit of what the song Behind the Mask could have sounded like had Michael Jackson been able to release it in the 80s. I did not create this; credit goes to Greg Pointrox over at mjextremes forum. This is his mix. All of us fans thank you.

i've just listened after i've listened to this version to the version on the album michael but i like that version too. the saxophone is great in it

Wow....whenever I listen to the one that Greg Phillinganes did in the 80's I can clearly see that this is a song that Micheal Jackson truly would have made into a hit on the Thriller album. Ryuchi Sakamoto was approached by Michael for the rights to include the song on the Thriller album and.....Sakamoto refused. Thriller went on to become a classic worlwide bestseller. Life is funny that way I guess. This is OK...but Greg (with a tip off to Michael) your version is fabulous. R.I.P. Michael.

This version is better than the one on that "Michael" album, Michael Jackson would agree. Well i think Michael Jackson wherever he is (RIP MJ) just HATES the "Michael" album...

is it just me or the solo sax ruin the song a bit? but i love this better than the album version.

This and the YMO version is much nicer than the remix version on the Michael album. The original is always better than the remix in my opnion.
