@mikeloire If belief in God and Jesus is the same as believing in Santa, then why are no "atheists" writing books like "The Santa Delusion" or "Santa Is Not Great: How Religion Poisons Everything". Why are no "atheists" blaspheming, screaming about, spewing vitriol over Santa? The two beliefs are quite obviously NOT the same, at all. If the "atheists" really believe there is no God, why do they spend so much time, energy and anger over Him? NO one does that about Santa. Why about God and Jesus?

If you believe Religion is against Christ, then you don't know what Christ truly taught. Religion doesn't mean church and needing Jesus doesn't mean you can't be smug, or in despair, or whatever, because religion is based off what Jesus taught. Religion can lead to humility. This guy is waaay off, just trying to make a buck like so many preachers out there!

@liv1071 Religion and Jesus cannot be seperated.Yes we all have to build a relationship with him.Relationship is important.Relationship consists of actions. Religion is everyday practicing a moral code. In order to have a relationship with christ a relationship that lasts you must keep God's principles in order to show God how much you love God. Religion works, when you give your alll to christ.

To me, church is just a place where people come to impress each other with their suits and fancy cars. Church to me is God's works; nature. I'd rather sit on my bed and read the Bible than come to an overdone building filled with hypocrites.

I disagree. Religion is a group of people with the same belief working and building there relationship with God. Religion doesn't tell you to don't do things. the bible does. Your just rebelling over the fact another human is sharing the word from the bible to you. I know it's hard cause as humans were rebellious but that's our flesh. In the bible God said kill the flesh and live by the spirit. Religion is all about sharing the word. Refusing Religion and telling everyone just to love Jesus. Th

Christianity has been made into a religion. It was meant to be about a RELATIONSHIP with the Father through the Son, Jesus Christ. And my, oh my have the wicked, perverted, sociopathic men of the world perverted it beyond belief. The first world religion began in BABYLON with Nimrod and his wife Semiramas. they created the MYSTERIES. a system of pagan idolatry. Rome adopted these ancient traditions and calls it Catholicism.
