Go to Tools in WMM and select Tools then OPTIONS then Advanced and change the aspect ration to 16:9. When you save to video, it should show that it is saving in 16:9.

I can't help but notice that the cassette you used for the Sharp said something "Baptist Church" on it. Was the tape originally a church service, or something like that?

It was an old sermon tape recorded in 1983.

Really? Where did you find it? Did you pick it up from a church? If I were to find a tape like that, I'd probably keep the recording, but that's just me.

i detect this is a DC bias unit i heare the nosy ss in her singing on play back but those units were made this way to prevet priacy .

To prevent piracy??! I wouldn't think so, I have some AC bias boomboxes with amazing quality as well as the reel-to-reel decks.
