It's interesting how so many people fail to realize that welfare and Government programs are theft. Period.

Society formed Laws to prevent Theft of the individuals, not to enable it. That is one of the essential flaws of socialism/communism. The other is simply in a system the rewards inactivity by assuming those who are productive 'owe' it to those who aren't you encourage people to become parasites. Poor people pay a lot of taxes. I did the tax return for a GI who made 16,400. Thats poor. He paid federal income tax -- and DID NOT get it all back. He paid FICA -- and did NOT get it back, he paid phone taxes -- fuel taxes, sales taxes, cig taxes.

Some rich pay a lot of taxes -- but a lot of rich people don't pay much -- or any taxes. Depends how they made the money.

Since the guy in the video clearly is clueless about that - he is spouting off about stuff he knows nothing about.

hmm, actually from what i've seen thats middle class. ive known people who are lucky to clear 8k a year. maybe he me also meant people who dont make enough to have to file taxes. he makes a decent point about, where are we going to get all the money to pay for all the canidates promises. i still remember the harsh taxes during the clinton years. but, sometimes taxes are needed, and many poor people do need help.

C'mon HighDesertDi, there are no absolutes in life, so one (when speaking of vast issues) must generalize. Specifically, entitlement people suck off of others, rich people have no income, they get there money from what is called "Capital gains" that is taxed at 15% while most people pay 30-40% on "earned income". Meanwhile those that get 2 mil a year on capital gains are classified as poor because they dont have income. we need to re-define poor to even start to address this.

Generalizing is a useful tool at times, but can often be the cause of disagreements. Not all corporations do business at the barrel of a gun. Many of them do business with others voluntarily - but then that would define them as 'isolationists' if you believe the current propaganda regarding the issue.

As far as the 'entitlement americans', if we simply do away with the idiotic notion that groups of individuals can commit crimes (ie theft) then that wouldn't be a problem.
