WELL-DONE video. Someone I love dearly attended Discovery Place. I was there at his side every step of the way. He has been sober for years now and is very active there. When i came to Discovery Place i was in a lot of pain. Having had sobriety and then relapsed, I felt hopeless. Alcoholism and drug addiction had taken almost everything from me. I was hopeless! Then I rediscovered the 12 steps. The staff was great. The volunteers that came out really helped me see that there was hope after all. That life was worth living. Now I have been sober for several years now and Discovery Place is still a part of my life. The continuing care program is wonderful.

Discovery Place allowed me to find myself again. After years of alcohol abuse I was coming close to 'the point of no return'. With my career on the rise I knew something had to be done. Suspicious at first about rehabilitation, I soon discovered 'life-long friends' and the willingness to live a better and meaningful life.

I went to this retreat in 2007 and have been sober since. It is now 2009 this place is a miracle. I never thought I would get my life together Theylays down the tools to recover from a seemily hopeless state of mind and body. God bless this place. 25 people in the retreat when I went there and several have stayed sober. The Staff is great and we stay in touch often. This is the real deal and have recommended this place to several people and have had great results. Steve C. Indiana
