  • perhaps you can help me. I frivolously rushed into the lotus position without the proper stretching.. and put pressure on my knees. Now there is a popping in them when they are bent.. especially when lying down. I am never going to attempt the lotus position again.. but what can i do to heal the knees? Should i stay off of them entirely? Or should I do any exercises within their normal range of motion? I am terrified and anxious.. my knees are very important to me. Thank you

  • @stevecsulb10 haha i juss saw you posted this comment 6 months ago yeh i got surgery yesterday but i guess tha doctors found out it was a ligament they also did surgery on my other leg and took out a hernia and sowed a ripped muscle this really really does hurt i mean i cant even feel the knee surgery my hernia surgery hurts so bad but just like u both surgeries were a success haha

  • @1904productionz i did tear my meniscus and also my ACL! It sucked but I had meniscus repair on 12/28/10 and ACL recons w/ hamstring graft just last month, 4/14/11. I'm feelin pretty great about the recovery process so far. My meniscus was re-examined during the ACL surgery and it healed up great! I even have some pics that my awesome surgeon took. It was my choice to have two separate surgeries because I'm just OCD like that but it worked for me I switched to a better surgeon for my ACL surgery

  • @stevecsulb10 if swelling doesnt go away u most prolly tore ur meniscus im gettin surgery for it tomorrow thass the only reason i looked at this video haha n u need surgery for it sorry

  • @stevecsulb10 something that you should go to the doctor for and get referred to a specialist for.

  • I've had 4 meniscus repair's on just my right knee alone. After each surgery it tear's yet again. It's been cut into so many times the skin isn't healing. It's still blood red (scars). I would like to know why it continues to tear over and over and what I can do about it. The pain is excruciating. I'm ex-army and used to be active. I'm unable now. I'm 23 and I just want it fixed so the pain will lesson and I can go off the pain meds. Please help me.

  • @tiger355 Well in my experience i had surgury on the ACL and meniscus. I had the same three incisions around my need but they sewn each shut and it took about 2-3 weeks to heal shut

  • how much will it cost for the meniscus repair

  • I had arthoscopic meniscus surgery on my left knee. It left 3 small cuts around skin of the knee area. It has been over 2 months but the skin has not healed over yet. How long did it take for your cuts to heal over, and did they scar? Were your cuts sewn shut or left to heal on own?
