Omg, my whole family is near Cleveland, I could not imagine having to move back there from the west coast during transition. I cannot imagine how difficult that was. Up in Washington, I see a transgendered specialists, and am seen at a LGBT specific counseling firm. My price was leaving my family behind. Thank you for your bravery.

Thank you so much for allowing people to know you a little... ignorance = fear = aggression and intollerance.

As a biological girl who felt like a boy most of my childhood, I grew up feeling intersexed. I live as a woman now, and am happy as such, but seem to feel most accepted and comfortable with gay men or trans people.

I can only hope that people who know of or are themselves considering "transgendering" would please look deeply and honestly into the reasons why. Having been around such people myself in transitioning for some 30 years I did indeed "write the book". And as I say in that book- "nature just doesn't make that many mistakes". there are many other reasons or even "excuses" for people using a transgender bandwagon to attempt to mask or solve problems..or find themselves.

@jmmook1982 you should do what makes you happy..parents should accept their children how they are,yes it may be hard to understand at first(a transition for them also)but you should stick by your kids,,the world is a mean place.
