Blood: The Last Vampire - Full English Language Trailer

UK trailer for the live action adaptation of the anime film Blood: The Last Vampire. Blood tells the story of Saya, a young girl who lives in the twilight world of the half human/half vampire. She's also pretty tasty with a katana. Imagine a sexier version of Blade (or a sexier version of Buffy, for that matter). Hey, do all vampire slayer movies and TV shows have to begin with the letter 'B'? Is it some kind of law or something? Anyway, South Korean actress Jeon Ji-hyun (AKA 'Gianna Jun') plays Saya, as Yuki Kudoh (Blood's original multi-lingual voice actress) was probably busy making arthouse films with Jim Jarmusch, or whatnot. Blood (under the title Last Blood) will be released in Japan on May 29th 2009 with a UK release on June 12th. No US distribution yet, sadly. The film, which like the anime version is primarily in English, is set on a US Army base in 1948 and is a Japanese/Hong Kong co-production. More on Blood? This is a Japanese film - the original anime version was also largely in English.

Well this is a brand new theatrical film, it's not even been released in Japan yet. Perhaps you were thinking of the earlier, aborted attempt to make a live action Blood movie?

no actually i've about the making of this movie a long time ago...

so that's how i knew about it...same time when i read about speed racers with rain in it...

eventually, speed racers came out but not this one...so i was wondering when it'll some out..

sadly...there's no US date yet...hopefully there's one coming!!!
