During the spring of 2010, Oskar Linnros released "Från Och Med Du" - a song I instantly loved. Oskar and I had previously been talking about working together, but it all just fizzled out. But when "Från Och Med Du" showed up I got an idea. I suggested to Oskar that we'd make a "bootleg-version" of the song in English. I wrote the english lyrics, recorded the vocals and added the instrumental version of "Från Och Med Du". The feedback from Oskar? It was "way too good".
In June of 2010, Oskar payed a visit down to the Atlantis Studio where I and the Moon Ray Quintet recorded our 2nd album - "Echoes". The idea of recording an English version of Oskars' song popped up once again, but this time around, it was suggested by Oskar that we'd record a version with the Moon Ray Quintet instead.
Well, said and done. Here it is - "From Now On". Our version, with inspiration of Curtis Mayfield and The Incredible Bongo Band.
