God of War: Ghost of Sparta - Walkthrough Part 07 - Methana Volcano (Spartan)

Difficulty: Spartan (Hard).

This is part 7 of my God of War: Ghost of Sparta playthrough/guide series. This video shows Kratos traversing a valley of lava hanging from a ceiling and fighting Phoenixes in the Methana Volcano area.

Here's a short guide:

Climb up the wall near the area's first save point and you will find a spot to hang from the ceiling. Break the stalactites and move forward to find some spiders that are pretty easy to kill.

Drop down where the ceiling part ends to find a chest full of Red Orbs and 2 grapple points. Use those to get to the other side of the room and walk through the long hallway there.

Here you will find yourself in an area called The Caldera. Jump to the circular platform below and you will have to fight a lot of annoying Phoenix enemies. These guys will try to divebomb Kratos which hurts a LOT if you don't move. Luckily they create a firey circle on the ground before they attack. I found the best way to deal with these guys is to use Kratos's grab attack.

Continue onwards to find a health chest and the game's fifth save point.

@Trizi23 Sorry for my late reply. The album is called Chrono Tied. It's a mix of CT music and Fort Minor 'The Rising Tied'.
