Back is his shoddy production. He's got the lyrics, the flow and the metaphors. He'd crush JZ and you can't deny that. People are so focused on the music, they don't even listen to what most artist say. So many people are ignorant of that fact, shit ends up rising to the top. Like lil wayne. That nigga straight suck, but his production is so tight and he has so many colabos that it keeps him hot. If people cared about lyrics, they'd see that he's straight shit. i really dont get why jay z is so huge in all seriousness... the only stuff of his i ever really gotten into is RD.. not to say i havent listened to his other stuff TRUST ME iv tried hard to get into the artist who most proclaim king of new york (laughs)

but even on his 'classic' album his lyrics aren't really anything amazing

his flow is great on the album yes and almost every track sounds great i can play it all day...

but all he talks about is the hardships of trying to pull himself out of the ghetto

and not in the succinct beautiful nas way but in a really cryptic and convoluted way that you kind of have to be looking for to understand

his flow consists of so many filler words and little sounds or whatever put in there just to make up beats or rhyme how he wants
