@SANEWBERRY yeah im in michigan. climate is a major factor here. had a dehumidifier running at one point, because the pond was in a room with no exterior windows. having the pond in its own room would help to eh, I have it in the main room of a finished basement. I just moved into a new house and winter is preventing me from fixing up and utilizing the existing ponds in the back yard. So until spring I am forced to over winter them inside.

how do you prevent water damage to the house? I have a 300 gal pond with multiple turtles inside and need a solution.

@canuckpuckstopper1 I don't do anything, just don't have a problem with humidity. Perhaps it's the climate, I'm in the UK, I don't know where you are. Heat and surface water movement all aid in evaporation so just keep those to a minimum where possible. I know over in the US they end up using dehumidifiers and extractor fans for indoor ponds.

What kind of turtles are these...and where did you get the little one?

@yeah4me1 I've got a female Yellow Belly Slider, an as yet unsexed Peninsula Cooter and a pair of False Maps. My Cooter is currently the smallest but wasn't in this video so I guess you must be referring to one of the maps, most likely the male.
All 4 are free rehomes. The YBS and Cooter came from someone who no longer wanted them and the pair of false maps came via a lady who takes in unwanted turtles and finds them new homes.
