14-Year-Old Jamey Rodemeyer Commits Suicide After Posting "It Gets Better" Video

Jamey Rodemeyer is a 14-year-old boy who was found dead by his parents after an apparent suicide. Jamey had been bullied for years in middle school and had just entered high school.

"He was saying how great school was going, how happy he was, his grades were great," said Tim Rodemeyer, Jamey's dad. "No indication that he was in pain."

But Jamey's friends say the bullying was still happening, but he was handling it well. "It was nothing that he or anybody was concerned on."

When asked if he thinks Jamey just got to a point where he couldn't handle it anymore his dad said, "Yeah, I think so. I think that's what happened. He fooled everybody. He put on a brave face and I wish he wouldn't have."

cont. Then again there already is another transgender person who wrote a book about all the things they did to keep from commiting suicide. I haven't actually read it yet, but from what I've heard about it she does some pretty heinous shit. If I seriously got to the point where I couldn't take it anymore, instead of commiting suicide I would just hop on a bus and go. Just go wherever. Feeling suicidal you feel trapped (duh) but that's just my personal solution. An actual escape out of a location, even for like a few days would help. If you're suicidal though you might not want to take my advise because you might get in trouble. Then again what's more important, getting in trouble or ending your life? Damn I should write a book! :D

your right!!! Pretending your ok will work for the short time. It gets people off your back for your pain. they cant hit it directly if you talk about it. It can work, if you can make a recovery over time. If you cant it wont work. youll have to make major changes to make that recovery happen
