This long-lost footage is part of a series of videos that CaromTV.com captured at the 1998 $150,000 Carom Corner Tour stop at Chris' Billiards in Chicago. It was never released due to technical problems that we had with some of its switching equipment. I am making these available for the die-hard enthusiasts because contained in them are some absolutely stellar performances and nail-biters during Sang Lee's rise to the top of one of the strongest international fields ever assembled on US soil at the time. The super-star field included: Sang Lee, Dick Jaspers, Raymond Ceulemans, Semih Sayginer, Frederic Caudron, Eddy Leppins, Francis Forton, Mazin Shooni, Bill Smith, and many other champions.
In this crucial 50 point match against the sensational Semih Sayginer, he and Sang Lee are neck-and-neck for most of the pressure-filled game. In the end, the calmest player wins by one point - keeping the spectators on the edges of their seats.
Pro commentary by Dick Jaspers and Don Sperber.

Thank you for letting us enjoy these unforgettable matches, Mr Ira Lee. By the way, I would like to ask you wheteher you know who was Sang Lee's opponent in a world record game played in 1992, when Sang Lee made 50 points in only 4 innings (19- 11- 9- 11). That amazing feat would probably never be equalled, let alone surpassed. Is there a video of that game?
