  • Clear anus family doctor?

  • Didn't know Boy George had a kid.

  • R.I.P. News of the World (1843-2011)

  • At 0:22 looks like a scarecrow

  • That was the year I left home (Newtownabbey) to go to England. The only ad I don't remember is the makeup ad.

  • Phwoar, look at that Escort. Manual sunroof! And Outdoor girl, where did that stuff go to?

  • THATS GRIM

  • I remember none of these adverts.

    I was 5 and 6 in 88.

  • I remember listening to the remixed version of the original summer tune performed by Bill Withers in 1977. The Chart Show on ITV was the first time I heard it.

  • Of course, a remixed version of "Lovely Day" was soon to chart ...

Going through the Irish Times archive (which I can still search though I can't read the articles) I think this is Saturday 13th August 1988 - the phrase "Ricky Nelson and Fats Domino" appears on that date, and it's obviously a Saturday with that NOTW ad.
