Adduction Exercise
Challenge #1--- "Bow" from "Sit"
Missing piece is coming to stand in order to perform "Bow". He had the idea of lowering the shoulders, but didn't figure out the hip raising. He resulted in "down". "Bow" cue might be attached to the shoulder action.
Challenge #2---"Flop" from "Stand"
Missing piece is "down". I always first cue "dow", then "flop" (lie on his side). When I cued him "flop" from "stand", he immediately slightly twisted his body by responding to the "flop" cue. That IS the body movement to lie on side from "down". But it looks like he realized he was standing, cannot just throw his body to the floor, and became confused. He figured out the "down", and after I waited a bit, I cued "flop" again. But at this point, his brain was too confused. The "flop" cue might be attached to the action of twisting body to lower the side body.
Challenge #3---"Wave" from "Stand"
For him, paw wave is always done with "sit". The missing piece is coming to "sit". When he was cued to "wave" from "stand", he was really thinking, and figured out "sit", but at this point he probably forgot what he was cued, or he was confused, and couldn't raise the paw.
Challenge #4---"Sleepy" from "Stand" and "Sit"
MIssing piece is "down". "Sleepy" cue seems to be attached to the head movement. He just lowered his head from both "down" and "sit" position. This might come in handy when I need head nod. I can cue "sleepy" for head not in different base position.
