Scotch'n'Soda's production of Pippin at Carnegie Mellon University. This is a student run theatre production, not the drama department. Scotch'n'Soda premiere the original production of Pippin in 1967 before it went to Broadway.

This is part 1 of scene three and contains War is a Science and the brief dialog that follows

  • King Charlemagne is a businessman and not a king?

  • I was Charlemagne in my high school's production and this was one of my favorite parts... Of course my part was played with TREMENDOUS POWER!!! and we painted a map onto a chalk board and wheeled it on stage people were throwing paper airplanes and we all had nice paper hats and it was great fun!

  • Haha. Scott, you're so talented!!!

  • Wow, that's certainly a tounge twister and a half. Good job on the elocution... though I usually play Charles as more of a potent tyrant than an impotent nancy.

  • Very interesting arrangment. I am not sure I like the changing tempos so much. Still very well done.
