  • I love how Ben turns that around. Everything around really. Must be pretty hard to write for.

  • WHY isn't this in the show???????????????????

  • If this episode had run short this scene would make good padding but as it was there was no room for it. Despite great acting it adds nothing the audience needs to know, does not move the plot forward & even slows the pacing down. It does give us some insight into Ben's motive's in taking/saving Alex. He believed Danielle to be crazy & he was right. The first time Alex got a rash (like Aaron's) Danielle would have killed her. This scene also foreshadows Ben's abusive childhood at Roger's hand.

  • i haven't watched series 5 yet, so i don't know what happens, but I am glad that this scene didn't make it, because it is a little too deep for what the rest of the story about Alex, Danielle and Ben has been so far, if that makes sense.

  • i love when ben

    is bein smart and

    sarcastic. with

    his voice its so funny

  • It's show versus tell. We didn't need to see Locke & Ben be this catty. We already sense it. The actors are both so good all the time, this scene became unnecessary.

Also, the setting was wholly unremarkable, the camera angles uninteresting, and the scene brings the story to a screeching halt. Pacing is a big thing for Lost.

Still, great performances from both of them, even tho the dialog is a little heavy-handed and revealing. Definitely NOT cut due to acting.

  • goood scene

  • Probably a good idea to delete this scene back during season 4 but if we watched it with what we know now, how Ben actually did kidnap Alex, we can interpret every little thing he says here. He only took Alex to protect her... It gets pretty deep.

  • NO WAY!!!!

  • "Imagine how much happier your childhood would've been if you'd never known who your parents were." Dude. That's going in my facebook quotes. XD

  • I guess this is the reason the deleted it. They made a writing mistake, filmed the scene and realized the mistake afterwards and cut it. Because otherwise, this is a great scene.
