MOON ~ Orange Waxing Crescent (8/31/11)

August 31, 2011 8:52 PM EDT Video Capture of Orange Waxing Crescent Moon to share with others. The Moon and Sun were setting around the same time. Sunset was approximately 7:50 PM EDT. The Sun looked huge while setting in the Western Sky like a large orange glowing ball in the sky :) Before the Sun set the sky was layered with Baby Pink and Blue Bars and the setting waxing crescent moon was framed with one of the pink bars, gosh, sure wish I could have captured the sky right then and there! When I walked outside after having dinner I looked up at the sky and noticed the Moon was now Orange so even though I didnt have my tripod with me I tried to capture what I could of the Moon. Sorry for the shakes in the video :( I will say that the Moon was a Darker Orange than what is portrayed in the video. Video weather - Clear skys, no cloud cover, light breeze in the air, temperatures in the low 80s, just perfect weather outside. Thanks for watching :) Video filmed by YouTuber ln4359
