WQAX Streetdance, Bloomington, IN. Summer 1990. Shot by Eric White
Before there was the Royal Pendletons, there was Modock. Featurin' Mike Hurtt and J. Matthew Uhlman (Matt Pendleton) who moved on down south to New Orleans from Indiana to form The Royal Pendletons with King Louie Bankston.

"rock and roll is dead! AND it's for old people"
Thanks for proving my point.

Oh, I don't blame you for kicking me out; I clearly wasn't cut out for the 15+ year commitment of being a royal pendleton.
Everything worked out for the best; I'm in Chicago, and you're....still in new orleans.

Ttheodore roosevelt:
"...the man who really counts in the world is the doer, not the mere critic-the man who actually does the work, even if roughly and imperfectly, not the man who only talks or writes about how it ought to be done." "Far better is it to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs, even though checked by failure...than to rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy much nor suffer much, because they live in a gray twilight that knows not victory nor defeat."

Ah! That's why there's so much footage of the two cops hanging around in the rest of the dance footage.

This was the year I stalked Michael, showing up at Karma Records and skulking behind the record racks...he was the cutest boy I had ever seen! I had to had to wait til 1996 to get him...I remember WQAX!
