Roby was awesome. I remember him from years ago. On the tuning, he probably tuned a half step down like many artist do and then from there dropped into DADGAD putting it a half step lower to C#G#C#F#G#C#. That probably matched his voice better as well. He was truly inspiring and he played skillfully before the Lord!

@sheebeehuh - sometimes the audio flatens or sharps the sound for some reason. Roby used DADGAD, but on several videos he sounds like he's in C# or D#- i think it's just a trick of the audio

GOD used Roby to grab me. Today as I just now found these music streams of Roby I have learned of his passing. I am deeply saddened! He had an extremely special place in my heart! With tears in my eyes right now, I confess, I'll miss him, and I know GOD holds him as special in HIS kingdom! My hope is to see him again sometime on the other side. GOD BLESS YOU ROBY!

I was invited to church over and over, and then one night I showed up, because my friend said that if I was to ever come, this would be the time, Roby was going to be there and my friend knew I'd love the way he plays. So, there I was, and when Roby strummed his fingers across the strings to see if he was in tune, GODS hand came out of his guitar and stretched across the room and grabbed my heart, and I knew right then that this was a divine appointment and I was saved that night!Please read on
