  • You guys are taking this video WAY too seriously. Seriously. We named it urban wussies for a reason. And, YES we do need fenders if we also used these same exact bikes to commute to class. Lots of rain, snow, and mud. Are fender stupid-looking, yes. But so is a huge wet spot on your butt and up your back going to class. Pick your battles...

  • LOL, I forgot this ever existed. I'm one of the stars! To respond to the hater below: If you can't tell from the quality of the video, this was made in about 2002, the bike I was riding during most of the video was a Santa Cruz Chameleon and at the time there weren't a whole lot of hardtails that were much stronger. Isis drive cranks had only been out for a season hence the broken square taper bottom bracket. Really this riding isn't that xtreme people do the same on light all-mtn bikes today.

  • lol this is classic you do rly well on the xc hardtail untill the crank snapped lol well done XD

  • I am not an expert on bikes. Never said I was. But I do know enough to know what a hardtail is, and that not everybody can afford a 'nice' bike.

  • Oh well. They are still doing it.

  • No they aren't.

does that mean they never do? does that mean it never rains where they live?

  • and when are u the expert on bikes your channel has nothing to do with bikes. look at mine its all about bikes

  • but as i said not the right bikes for the job

  • yea but there not even going through any mud

  • Oh so 'nice' is a technical term then?

Whatever. Besides, not everybody can afford a 'nice' bike. Some people just make do with what they have.
