If you pay close attention To Obama's Speeches and that of John McCain, You will notice a difference in tone. In one you have a message of change with facts and real plans to achieve those goals, and the other talks about change and changing things and doing things without giving any plans to back his talk. When I see McCain give me some Idea of what he wants to do. I'll give him a second thought.

After following through the numerous speeches of Mr.Obama I feel that whatever he is saying is from the core of his heart, not like others who appear to rehearsh a lot to face the public. Only an honest and dedicated person who believes in his ideas can do so. Good luck to you Mr. Obama.

Yeah, sorry you're right. I had to look that one up. Ah youtube, the place where people learn English. LOL.

No, the verb effect means to cause.

Isn't it "affect change" instead of "effect change?"

Spot on!
Obama is the only candidate who can win who is good to the core. I just hope people know that, for him to win, they have to do more than vote, they have to do what has made him so successful: be inspired, roll up sleeves and work.

The problem with Senator Obama is he does not sound like a politican trying to win votes. He sounds like the guy next door givng an impassioned speech and I like that a whole lot. I also like that he wants to serve, and ya do not know how many times I have complained that our elected officials do not seem to serve those who elect them.
