@RayMinkle Why does memorization equal quality? It doesn't. It's a quantitative way to feel accomplished, but does not ensure a quality or sophisticated performance.

Your 5 beat measures at the beginning are pretty much coming off as 6

I really don't know why people get ugly here. They are opinions we offer........and opinions are like "a--holes" we all got them so relax. Holding folders is NOT a preference it is because you don't know the music. Well rehearsed and top notch choirs follow their DIRECTOR and not look at the music. It is crap to say the folders help the sound go forward. It fact it is hilarious that one would suggest that it is helpful. If that is the case lets wear those cone dog collars.

@RayMinkle Chanticleer performs with music. So what's the problem? The folder, if held right, will actually help augment the volume by helping the sound go forward, rather than down. It seems to me that having folders is more of a personal preference.

@RayMinkle Heres my impression of you "The way I do things is awesome. Meh meh meh meh meh! Sing it how I want you to! When I did this I was SOOOO awesome and you are only meh"
Suck a dick, they did good.

The piano rhythm at the beginning feels off, but maybe it's just because I'm used to a different interpretation. Most of the other versions I've listened to have done it differently too. I love this piece though! :) Nice dynamics.

Great piece of music, also a great piano part!!

wats so funny?
Well done..........BUT........come on you guys should have done this without music! STRETCH yourselves. I know that university choirs don't meet all that often but when I sang at Cal State Fullerton we memorized everything. When I sang in HS it was a HUGE no, no to sing with Music but we met every day. Soloist has a tremolo and unfortunately out of tune. I like their over all sound. I also feel the director followed the composer's tempo and performed this wonderful piece as written.

Actually there were only a hand full of us actually using music the rest of us weren't. Notice how only 5-6 people actually turn the page. The director thought that it would look weird if some of us had music and some of us didn't.

I really don't like the way the "La" is said.
It should be spoken like: Lah instead of Luh. By making it an ah sound, it becomes much easier to sing.

I think that LAH would sound really harsh regardless of whether things are easier to sing one way I think that the way that sounds better is the better route to take.
