We make it to Cherrygrove, where one old man had way too much coffee! Wonder if he's related to that nutcase in Viridian... And yes, I know running in tall grass increases the encounter rate. But that doesn't mean it's always a bad idea. Especially given my play style.

Can you get Timer Balls in this game? Because they work better than Ultra Balls after 10 turns and better than Dusk Balls at night after 15.
