@NickeB68 maybe it was the other way around, it is Michaels's song & the original drummer was Simon Phillips, but it sounded fine to me! just my opinion ofcourse!

@NickeB68 theres nothing wrong with michael, the mistake is cosy's, he started the count too soon, mind you he was a great drummer, but like axe said this is michaels song, and you dont fuck with his music i dont care who you are, he also looks a little pissed at cosy's over use of cymbal rides at the beginning too, just sayin

Lost Horizons is just such a smokin hot song. This is why I think Schenker is truly one of the all time axemen greats of rock.

Simon Phillips owns this song on drums in my opinion, no competition for Cosy, Cosy is one of my top all time drummers, but this song is not for him, the studio version drums are just bliss and the virtuosity of fills seems to never end, Cosy definitely uses the rides too much in this

@AXEFLYERFV I was writing it with a little bit of irony (referring to some comments about Cozy slacking). As a drummer I think the drummer should set the tempo, but, as you mention, it's Michael's song and I guess he showed Cosy who's the boss in the band by speeding it up a bit! :)
