  • Thumbs up if yall from Texas!

  • So what other state has everything made after its shape (coasters, stepping stones, clocks, mailboxes, etc)? What other state has so many country songs about it? What other state is the setting for good football movies? What other state was it's own country? What other state is editions of trucks ("Texas Edition" for example?) What other state grew 2x as fast as the rest of the country in the last 10 years, and didn't those people come from other states looking for jobs?

  • @digitalsoapbox Ignorant fool....go back to your rock and crawl under it.

  • WELL....I and my two sons were born in Texas so..... DAMN proud of it and Aggie to boot ole pal

  • @onionofdeath I love Texas....I got down here as fast as I could!!

  • @digitalsoapbox You are showing your ignorance very well. Do you know that General Sam Houston defeated Santa Anna's army in 18 minutes. Texans killed about 600 Mexicans and lost 9 of there own. My, my, talk about an ass whipping huh? This battle won us our freedom from a dictator set on our destruction and Texas said no way and no mercy. By your rant I would say you maybe the jackass. Texas is still happy you left and so am I.

  • Cut 'N' Shoot here!

  • Happy Texas Independence Day fellow Texans!

  • @digitalsoapbox

And what do you mean "land steal?" With that theory, what would you call the American Revolution? The Texas Revolution and American Revolution were very similar.

Next time try and leave your self a little less exposed for corrections!

  • @digitalsoapbox 3) The reason why it was such a proud moment was because it showed the Mexicans We will not give up in the face of defeat. Also, the mexicans executed the Texian army (as they were referred to at that time) who were defenseless. Not very moral... Lastly, the the slaughter of the terribly outnumbered Texian Army became a battle cry for the rest of the army. The thought was "Their slaughter will not go in vein."

  • @digitalsoapbox

    1) The Revolution was to over throw a tyrant government that didn't follow the constitution of 1824. A modern example would be if Obama said "Screw the Constitutions, laws, etc. Im doin what I want!"

    2) Of course no one else celebrates it, it's our holiday! Americans don't celebrate the French Revolution!

  • @texaskidzuk A couple things: 1) Texas Independence Day was a land grab, taking it from its rightful owners. So, there's that. 2) Nobody recognizes that "holiday" but Texas, so who cares what day it is. 3) One of the states most proud moments - the battle of the Alamo - was an enormous loss. I can't imagine why anyone would be jealous of living in a state whose proudest moments were getting their ass handed to them as they took things that didn't belong to them.

    Next jackass?
