No. I'm criticizing how he didn't want to join, then when he found out he had no choice, chose to take the easy, combat-dodging route, instead of going where his country said they needed him. He dodged, plain and simple. "I saw that I could join the Air Force instead and avoid combat, so I did." And then he flaunts it to bash everyone else, as if he joined because he wanted to.

And as he said in this video, he was a pilot, not a doctor. He should get his story straight.

Funny. In this video, he doesn't mention being a doctor. He claims to have been a pilot.

And has he? My entire family is veteran, as am I, and I CHOSE to join, as opposed to dodging and joining a branch that wouldn't be fighting. His country said they needed him somewhere, but he decided he'd rather serve someplace else. Real hero.

First of all, I myself am a veteran, and joined because I WANTED to, as opposed to Paul, who self-admittedly didn't want to join, but did because he had to.

Secondly, I fail to see what my lack of reliance on the government has anything to do with what I said. Typical Paultard: going completely off topic to try to have something smart to say. Idiot.

Isn't that sad? He was 20 plus years younger back in 1988 and people looked at him like he was crazy. He hasn't changed one bit and he really is what has made me believe that the government can work. I can't stand America because of what it has become. The two party system of regulating the way Americans live and taking their money and transferring it up to the upper class OR forcing the lower class to be dependent on the gov't. It is sad.
