  • as an expos-fan i use to nagg about every left-fielder that we play against,but him nope,would want to wake him.that guy as class!then and now.

  • George signed an autograph for me in the 70's, when I was a little guy, truly a nice man. Thanks, George.

  • @ussmerrilldd976. I think he played better that way. Because his lazy style would unnerve pitchers and managers to make them to do too much. When he went to the Mets, expectations killed his confidence and made him to do too much.

  • This guy was SO good for 3-4 yrs, especailly 1977 .....yet he should have been so much better. Fell off a cliff. No idea why?
