@wall1 Agree!! Mercedes has gone all angular and boxy all of a sudden, and BMW is better than it was under Chris Bangle, but is a bit sterile. Jaguar...Emotional, Stunning, Sensual, GORGEOUS.

@rocknrollman1234 You'd have to do some research but... Jag has always had that opening on the front of their race cars even back to the 30's and painted them all with British Racing Green paint. So, it's pure Jag design even though the Taurus might be closer to home and more the car you see everyday.

0-60 in 4.0s and a 12.3s Quarter Mile...faster than an M6 (now dead) and incomparable better-looking. Handles better too, according to Car And Driver. I believe the BMWs (sadly) have been relegated to status vehicles for brand-consceous poseurs. 3-series and M3 remain somewhat of a true driver's car, but the rest of their line-up. In any case, Jaguar with XK, XF and a stunning new XJ have upped the ante. Can't wait for their 3-series rival. Hope it will offer a manual!

Hey man well said as regards BMW's looking the same. So bloody boring with no panache or styling. Who cares how fast or well engineered they are. Jaguar matches them on that too and even surpasses them. BMW have never and will never make cars that look as good as a Jaguar. Jaguar has history and heritage. What do BMW have? I bet you don't even live in AUS. I bet you're some BMW salesman or something. Either way, BMW is nothing but a crumple zone for me. You can't compare Jaguar to BMW now, Jaguar more matches with Maserati, IN FRONT of BMW.
I'd like to see a BMW that doesn't look the same, there's so many models I've lost track. XF sold 33,000 last year, that's probably already been overtaken this year.
I'd suggest you learn before opening your trap.
