  • for one month it looks soooo good :) i would have ruff edges and hair coming out of place!!! i guess cuz i dont wrap it at night. if i try to do braid for 7 months how often should i change it??

  • @MsLadyFreak I was REAAAALLLLY taking care of my hair. Braidsn't shouldn't be in your hair for 7 months. I'd do two months at the VERY longest. I don't do weave braids anymore. When I braid or two strand twist my hair I only keep it up for a month and I wash it once a week.

  • @Nluvwgod so you wouldnt suggest i get braids in September and then take it out in November and then put it back in in January and leave it in till March then put it back in till May??n

  • @MsLadyFreak I personally thing that's too long. But you know your hair better than I do.

  • @Nluvwgod, thanks regarding the length check vid, with me in mind! I just read back over my post, no I didn't type "satan" caps! Lord, I'm sure you knew I meant Satin! lol.

  • @Godsflame1 LOL! I knew what you meant!

  • Nice vid I have been natural myself for two years and am at BSL length when straightened but note to the wise NATURAL hair IS in fact STRONGER then relaxed hair. Relaxers break the bonds within the hair strand inorder to relax it straight...Natural hair is a bit more work to maintain because it is in its natural state but IT IS STRONGER just had to add that

  • Remember that oil is NOT a moisturizer. It is a sealant, you will know if its a moisturizer when the first ingredient is water. Great vid! Do u have any tips for me? I am quite young and i want to go natural but school is big and i dont wanna get teased. Any tips?

  • Here I was thinking I was the only one that had the disappearing caps.

  • @hellokittycutie2003

True but even natruel people have a hard time growing hair. Point is BLACK HAIR IS HARD TO GROW. If it was easy we would not be having u tube videos or forums about it. what works for u may not work for the next persone

  • @yobiwolrd07 That's still untrue. Anyone can have strong hair, unless you have a medical condition that's hindering your hairs strength, growth, and retention. And even then (arguably) you might be able to find a solution or help for said medical condition. My hair has grown incredibly fast since being natural, and not only being natural but actually paying attention the health of my hair. Black hair that's fragile is usually a result of unhealthy hair and/or an unhealthy person, point blank.

  • @hellokittycutie2003

Yes but our hair is fragile EVERYTHING BREAKS BLACK HAIR. u DONT NEED A STUDY OR A U TUBE VIDEO TO TELL U THAT. The more fragil something is the harder it becomes to maintain it common sense

  • @yobiwolrd07 MYTH. Hair (on average) grows at the same rate, despite the texture. Because many of us don't know how to care for our hair in its natural state, RETAINING that growth is the problem. When you begin to understand your hair and what works for your hair, growth problems become nonexistent. Many of us don't even know how to properly comb our hair. Many of us overly manipulate our hair. All of these things lead to breakage, which means no growth. Don't spread misinformation.

  • Hey, I love your micros....they are gorgeous. I just want to know what type of hair you used? Synthetic or real...and what is it called, what brand?

  • lol funny dream.

  • Thanks! What about natural hair, no extensions? My 5 year-old has natural braids, they get frizzy quickly. Caps are hard to keep on when she sleeps, finally we work it with a satin cap (tied with hair band to fit her head, they're all too big) covered with a pair of pantyhose to keep it on. If I push the braids up in to the cap, they come out kinked at an angle in the morning. But if not covered, they get frizzy. Can I wet them to straighten, then use the coconut/shea? Do you have twist video?
