phleb13: I didn't mention hip-rotation, I mentioned positioning the toes & feet. When the toes & feet are pointed outward, the weight falls on the inner part of the thighs. When the toes & feet are pointed inward, the weight falls on the front & outside part of the thighs. In the former case, fullness & a sweep (with upper & lower tapers) in the inner thigh, are the targeted result. In the latter case, fullness & a sweep (with upper & lower tapers) in the outer thigh, are the targeted result.

LouMessina - How does hip rotation affect the activation of the different quad heads?
Does that mean that (for argument's sake) you could massively develop the vastus intermedialis whilst leaving the other heads undeveloped? If so, could you please quickly list how to isolate or at least emphasise each head specifically?

If you're referring to how the toes & feet are placed in relation to the knees, they're placed, positioned, & pointed according to which part of the quads you want to develop.
Judging by how jwoltering appears to be speaking non-stop, & this clip is concentrated with info, I sense he's pretty versed in the area. A longer clip would've allowed him to express more.
