A very simple all in one recipe. Step-by-step guide on how to cook a really easy to make delicious English beef and suet dumpling stew. The traditional English stew was a way to use up all of the left overs so don't be afraid to throw in other things like tomatoes, mushrooms, bacon or other veg like courgettes (zucchini) but add softer veg near to the end of cooking. Also you don't have to do the extra process of browning the beef at the beginning, you could simply throw all the ingredients in together...but browning it does give a better flavour to the stew.
