@cpswyl2 yep. I noticed king world news is having a CFTC executive who is going to list excuses. My source is at a high(er) level but the message will be the same. The agency feels it has been fish-gutted into ineffectiveness. That ineffectiveness did not protect my money.. Lets see how this pans out. Its possible the FUTURES industry is DEAD if your money cannot be protected.

"troubling"? I love the understatements from KD. Luciferians have been running this country for decades and we're just beginning to see the effects as 'troubling". You know perfectly well that the cause of the financial crisis was deregulation of derivatives championed by republicans like Phil Gramm. Deregulating derivatives meant Wall Street could buy financial insurance without any of the regulations or capital requirements of regular insurance, and credit default swaps was used to buy insurance and it fueled the desire to make more loans because people we're paid huge bonuses to do so.

Deregulation is the worst thing there could happen to America.

@wepollock How can you even begin to fault the Frank-Dodd Act when you know full well that the Glass-Steagal Act was removed through republicans like Phil Gramm being bought by Wll Street to deregulate everything. All through the Bush administration you were perfectly fine with the abolishment but now that you've realized how inane and dangerous deregulation is because you've lost money it's suddenly another deal. Derivatives was also deregulated which caused the entire crash of AIG, Lehman etc

WTF? A regulatory agency that doesn't feel like regulating? I'd like to see the Average Joe tell his boss that he doesn't feel like doing his job. These bureaucrats (redefined as persons of questionable parentage) should be fired and make sure the doorknob doesn't hit them on their way out...
