Immediately following Strikeforce: "Carano vs Cyborg" on Saturday, MMARising.com spoke with new Strikeforce addition Marloes Coenen (19-3-0) regarding her recent signing with Strikeforce and her expected debut against new Strikeforce Women's Lightweight Champion Cristiane "Cyborg" Santos.

Marloes also discusses other opponents whom she would like to face and clarifies past comments about fellow recent Strikeforce signee Erin Toughill. Contrary to past reports, Marloes has mostly good things to say about her former foe.

In further conversation following this interview, Marloes expressed a desire to compete in rematches with Toughill, Roxanne Modafferi and Cindy Dandois, but remains focused on the fight with Santos.

Cyborg is strong and agressive but she lacks skill and patience. She should kick more from the hips. Marloes should be capable of taking her down and out with ease. Survive Cyborgs tornado opening and lock the arm.

Cyborg's not the end all be all. Gina actually had a chance to potentially finish Cyborg on the ground but she gave up top position for some reason. A well rounded, technical fighter, who can mix it up, can beat Cyborg. I don't know if Marloes fits the bill but its possible.
