o WOW a true epiphany , I LOVE IT!
My favourite bits are "Handel victim" - LOL and "I still have the cover hanging from my fridge". This is "the point", eh?

Hi!
I know this may be a lot to ask- but could you post Silvia Tro Santafe's (Amastris) Arias from this CD, shes one of my favorite singers and I always wanted to hear her perform them!

But here in TCE with W. Christie, it happend the 1st time in my life that I was deeply moved and melted away by an opera. I needed days to calm down, no joke. It was all so aesthetic! And not only 2 good and the rest poor singers (what I was used to hear at home), but a thoroughly excellent cast. I have still the Figaroscope cover hanging on my fridge from that month, headline "Les maîtres du baroque célèbrent Handel" and a group photo with Christie, Minko, Jacobs.
Life is good (since then) :-)

The Serse from Paris!! I'm getting really nostalgic about it, because this production turned me finally into a Handel victim. I went there just out of curiosity, was visiting a friend, well and I liked Handel more or less (not more) and had seen the opera a couple of times in Munich before (where grabbing cheap last minute tickets for all kinds of stuff was a hobby).
