First puzzles are often 2 simple shapes, both the same color so the child can focus on the shape and not be confused by differences in both shape and color. Gradually, sometimes by 2.5 years as is this child, it is possible to do a jigsaw puzzle. It is clear that this child has done this puzzle many times, repetition being a need of children at this age.
