    Thankfully, the old museum mentality of "original condition above all else" is slowly moving aside in favour of true preservation and restoration.

  • Wow such a treasure to hear this! Interesting how the tuning is on that instrument. Very colored.

  • Amazing to find an original Hass, playing condition, and in high definition video. It is hard to believe the first clavichord I saw in a museum fifty years ago was preserved under glass, still in the dusty, broken-string decrepit condition it had been left in, probably 100 years previously. This is beautiful!
