The death throes of your final benediction echoes
Down the spiral of the world's spine
Down upon your great army behind the burning lake
The fiery last days of your reign on earth
Your falseness is your pity pride
Your cowardliness is your whole life
My blood is the way of your future
My army of pureness will crush your idols
Age of empire total war
Paradise lies in the shadow of my sword
Have i been understood?

  • smejem hahahahaha

  • HAVE I BEEN UNDERSTOOOD?!

  • @VJnarcoticvizion I could not agree more... Grand Declaration was indeed a misunderstood album, for me a masterpiece... Mayhem are the real innovators of black metal, they evolved a stuck genre into something very special, with a lot of progressive, doom and industrial influences... Even De Mysteriis was different from standard black metal, with prog parts... Basically they are a "progressive black metal" band... I miss Maniac and the genius of Blasphemer, a unique composer and guitarist...

  • @MrAlucard222 i totally agree with your comment , this is still a very misunderstanded album, its ahead of its time even now, it opened the path for the evolution of bm for this millenium. indeed hh is god, as well as maniac with the lyrics and vocals and of course the leader of all of it blasphemer !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • 1:14 ...my keyboard is now sticky

  • This song is an Hellhammer solo, basically! This album is fantastic, with a lot of progressive and industrial work... Jan Axel von Blomberg in this album is a god, super fast and super technical, the drumming is out of this world... HH is the god of drums...

  • I love this one. So intense!
