I don't know what's better: the music for this stage or the stage itself. On one hand, we have a grim, pulsing, Gothy-action theme that'll instill dread and desperation in anyone who listens to it. On the other, we have a huge guillotine blade cutting off your exit and a big undead guy who says hello by clawing up out of the ground, plucking his own head off the butt of his executioner's axe and putting it on like a hat...and gets pulled under by a huge skeleton hand as he dies.

Don't forget when he crosses his axe on the ground a whispers "Come here......"

And lets not forget his jump attack that most low levels can't dodge without a speed increaser.

This guy should have been Garm. nsted of fighting a statue where after you destroy what you can just walk infront and shoot, you have to fight the Lich (With better stats and morr attacks to throw at you).

Ha ha, I LOVE this theme, easily my favorite boss battle theme of the whole frigging lot. I didn't realize there was a sweet-ass chugging guitar riff until listening to this theme on here, truly makes it that much more badass like the Lich himself. I'd sometimes go in here to fight him again in order to listen to this awesome piece of music! GDL really has one of the most under-rated soundtracks, it really is amazing how every piece of music fits perfectly.

I can't really choose between the Lich and the Queen Spider. I love that they're both the only two on-the-ground bosses who will charge at you and smack you around, rather than sit on a pedestal and spit fireballs at you all day.

I know how to settle this indecision! Can anyone MUGEN up a Lich vs. Queen Spider fight? :-)
