and beautiful sound of that in the melódica (hohner, I think) It's a beautiful wind instrument, like a little and simple accordion.
If you have a child, go buy him/her one, and one for you too.And learn to play that Lennon plays; its very easy.

Just shows what an amazing composer John is! The first time my dad and I saw this on the dvd we were like "WOAAAAH" because it was so many years before Strawberry Fields was released!

That sounds like the intro to Strawberry fields, something McCartney said was written by him! Yet in this 1964 footage it is Lennon making it up or at least playing it!!!!

They are in NY at the hotel before going on Ed Sullivan Show in 1964.
It's on the Beatles First Trip to America dvd.
