As a makeup artist myself I must ask, Why use mac? They have awful pigmeants etc. Since estee lauder bought mac they have ruined it, I no longer use any mac.

Yes, the products have changed since Estee Lauder took over 15 YEARS AGO!

As your profile states that you are 21 it does beg the question why were you using make-up at 6 years old and how the hell do you remember the payoff of said products?

A tad hostile there luv. The profile age is wrong. I dont know any true artists that use mac. 'bought in 1999' so how you get 15 years is odd. Most artists here in the states dont use mac. Its filled with fillers, wax etc. I work on a television show here in the states and cant recall anyone other then a teen girl using the product, Ciao luv.

Actually Lauder had major shares since 1994. I agree MAC isnt great for TV there is far too much mica but for editorial, runway, print it gets used constantly in the UK.

I have seen Val Garland, Sharon Dowsett, Charlotte Tilbury, Max Delome, Tom Pecheux all use it backstage. Clearly it works.

You know sitting here it hit me. A friend told me once that in th uk many mac products were not tampered with, Maybe you still get the good stuff, lol. Here I cant blend the shadows to save my life. I was working on a client and she had a black mac shadow. I could not blend it as it fell apart on the face. I had to reach for one by too faced. I think your a great artust btw. Maybe the mac we get is different then what you guys can get,

I havent ever bought MAC in the US so I couldnt compare the two but its widely used here and there is no backlash at all.

i agree, could you do like a adam ant makeup tutorial, but like adam ant on ACID. really crazy, like a rainbow of blending and odd shapes.
